All rebates will differ according to your level of cover so best to check with your health fund provider before committing to a treatment plan.

Affordable Dental Care for Kids with the CDBS

At our dental practice, we proudly accept the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), a program designed to provide essential dental services to children aged 2 to 17 years.

Under this scheme, each child is entitled to a dental services allowance of up to $1052 over a two-year period. Once this limit is reached, the $1052 benefit may restart again.

To qualify for these benefits, a child must meet the following criteria:

Be between the ages of 2 and 17 for at least one day of the calendar year.
Be eligible for Medicare on the day of the dental service.
Belong to a family that receives specific Australian Government payments.

*These eligibility requirements are assessed at the start of each calendar year and remain valid for the entire year. Children who become eligible later in the year will have their eligibility backdated to January 1st of that same year.
